Laboratory Services
The Lab at UCSF Health Saint Francis Hospital provides a wide range of clinical and pathology lab services for patients in our clinics, hospitals and emergency rooms. We operate 24/7, serving medical providers and patients throughout the Bay Area.
Our team includes phlebotomists (blood draw specialists), laboratory scientists, couriers and administrative staff from UCSF Health Saint Francis and St. Mary's hospitals.
All laboratory tests must be ordered by a physician.

Please note: At the current time, this location can't access electronic orders placed through MyChart. For now, until November 2025, we kindly ask UCSF patients with lab orders in MyChart to continue using UCSF Health blood draw sites. This will ensure their orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
This location can accept paper lab requests for all UCSF Health patients.
