From our entire hospital staff undergoing pronoun training to following the guidelines set by The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, The UCSF Health Saint Francis Hospital Gender Institute's best-in-class surgeons and specialists are dedicated to the gender-affirming individual experience.
Funding
The Saint Francis Foundation has funded the Gender Institute since its founding in 2016, providing grants for surgical equipment, physician and staff training and education, and community-based peer-to-peer navigation services for transgender and gender-nonconforming patients and their families.
