Rally Family Visitation Services FAQ
What is the purpose of supervised visitation?
Supervised visitation is usually ordered by a family court to ensure safe contact between parents and children. Rally is staffed by trained, licensed mental health professionals and trained volunteers. Rally staff members meet the qualifications and training requirements mandated by the state of California, inclusive of those outlined in Standard 5.20 and Family Code section 3200.5.
Who is eligible and how do I access services?
All parents who need visitation services are eligible, though most are referred by a family court through a court order. Call or email Rally to inquire about starting services.
How long will I receive services?
This is generally determined by the court.
Are there rules I need to follow?
Rally has visitation guidelines, which are provided to all parents. Interventions are made to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being. If participants don’t comply, they may not receive services at Rally.
How does the court receive updates?
Rally provides a report to the court that includes documentation of the visits. This is a fact-based, objective account of each visit. Rally doesn’t provide assessments or recommendations to the court.
How much will I pay Rally for its services?
Generally, the court order specifies whether one or both parents will pay for Rally’s services. Using proof of income, Rally determines each parent's ability to pay and places them on a sliding scale. Each parent pays an enrollment fee, and we require payment in advance for all services.
