Maureen Lu PT, DPT, OCS, CYT is a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami and has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and is committed to improving her patientâs quality of life. She believes in a holistic approach and incorporates manual, functional strengthening, and education components to address each individualâs needs. She is certified in Vinyasa and pre- and post-natal yoga, and is fluent in Spanish. Maureen enjoys practicing yoga, running, and traveling.
Maureen Maniulit PT, DPT earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 2014. She has worked in the fields of pediatrics (neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and amputations), acute care (p)ost-surgical, joint replacements and neurological conditions, and outpatient orthopedics (p)ost-op rehabilitation, repetitive stress and general orthopedic conditions. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and California Physical Therapy Association (CP)TA, and takes multiple continuing education courses to progress her manual therapy skills and evidence-based practice approach. Techniques include cup therapy, IASTM and movement pattern retraining to return patients to their prior level of function, and prevent re-injury.
Maureen enjoys being an active member of her San Francisco/Bay Area community, volunteering as a medical provider for various events and participating in health and wellness events. She is also passionate about global health, including service trips to provide rehabilitation and various services abroad (i).e., Guatemala, 2014. In her spare time, Maureen enjoys hiking, yoga, drinking coffee, traveling, and exploring different restaurants and cafes via urban hiking.
Dustin Tom, PT, DPT, MFDc, OCS is a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine, San Diego. He enjoys treating a spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries ranging from orthopedics, sports and occupational/ergonomic related injuries of the spine and extremities. His treatment style is multimodal consisting of manual therapy combined with exercise, functional training, and readiness for sport. He is also certified in myofascial decompression. He enjoys running, basketball, tennis, weightlifting, yoga, and outdoor recreations including backpacking, hiking/mountaineering, and board sports. On the off hours, you can find him exploring the wild and shooting photography. Having experienced the patient side of rehab, he is dedicated to making people better.
